Defend people's right to water! Please join the People's Health Movement and other organizations in working toward a water-secure future by signing the People's Statement on the Right to Water. Your organization's endorsement will help demonstrate support to establish access to safe, sufficient and affordable water as an international human right. It will also show the breadth of opposition to the commodification of water. By signing the People's Statement on the Right to Water, you will raise your voice to: * Call on the United Nations to pass a binding Convention on the Right to Water; * Encourage people to oppose the commodification of water and the privatization of public water utilities as a violation of human rights; * Demand that local and national governments recognize and defend peoples right to sufficient, safe, affordable and accessible water; * Support the growing global movement in defense of our common right to water.
