Are you interested in conducting Participatory Action Research (PAR)? SOMA-Net with support from Sida/SAREC has an ongoing project focusing on the social cultural aspects of HIV/Aids and the youth. This is part of a long term research aiming at building a PAR program. Requirements: a.. Social Scientists (preferably PhD level or Masters with research experience) b.. Published at least 2 papers in peer reviewed journal in the past 4 years. c.. Interested and competent in: a. Qualitative research with emphasis on Participatory Action Research b. Keen on publishing scientific papers Note that this is not a consultancy and no consultancy fees will be paid. The program will also not pay salaries but will support data collection, analysis and scientific report preparation. The projects are based in KENYA and UGANDA.
