Global Programme Coordinator
Oxfam is implementing a global strategy to respond to HIV/AIDS based on
programme experience and global analysis. We are recruiting for a
programme coordinator to support the integration of HIV/AIDS into Oxfam's
programme and to establish and lead a global Centre of Learning based in
South Africa, which:
- builds up a significant body of experience and expertise on
mainstreaming HIV/AIDS into Oxfam's global programme.
- supports staff and partners worldwide in developing skills and knowledge
- leads and manages knowledge, learning and key relationships for Oxfam GB
on HIV/AIDS
The Global Programme Coordinator will lead on analysis and direction for
the HIV/AIDS strategy, facilitate learning on HIV/AIDS within Oxfam and
work with others to bring about policy and practice change to meet
HIV/AIDS programme objectives.
To do this role you will be an effective project manager experienced in
working at a global level with excellent interpersonal skills who can
influence both strategy and implementation across regions by facilitating
learning. You need to be a self-starter who can work in a complex
environment, spotting opportunities and clearing blocks. Knowledge of
HIV/AIDS and an understanding of gender issues are essential.
