Board (NGO PCB Delegation)
Dear Sir/Madam
This is to inform you that the selection process for the vacancies in
the NGO Liaison Committee of the UNAIDS Programme Coordinating Board from
North America, Europe, LAC and Africa regions has been completed.
As you may know, the UNAIDS PCB has five seats reserved for NGO sector
delegates on a regional basis. Each delegate NGO has an Alternate.
Over the last 12 months, the calls for nominations for the following
vacant positions were posted on various forums:
Africa- Delegate
Asia/Pacific- Delegate
Latin America/Caribbean- Delegate
Europe- Delegate
Europe- Alternate
North America- Delegate
North America- Alternate
In accordance with ECOSOC resolution 1995/2, the NGO delegates to the
UNAIDS PCB, in consultation with the larger NGO community selected by
consensus the following new members.

Position: Latin America/Caribbean

SIDA (OASIS) (Extension of one year only)
Represenative: Ruben Mayorga
The names of these organisations were presented and confirmed at the 14th
meeting of the UNAIDS PCB in Geneva on June 26, 2003 and their
terms are for the period January 1, 2004 to December 31, 2005.
We trust that you will work with the current delegates from your
respective regions on issues that need to be brought to the attention of
the UNAIDS PCB. The list of current members and their addresses follows.
