We invite you to prepare and submit papers for the DevMedicine 1st Annual
Scientific Conference (dm.asc1) which will take place in Nairobi in between
1st and 5th December 2003.
The theme of this premier conference will be eMEDICAL SCHOOLS - WAYS AND
MEANS. The goals are to discuss the best ways and means to augment medical
education in developing countries using telecomputing methods of
communication.
This meeting will be attended by medical professionals and also
professionals in information and communications technology world wide. We
have also invited policy makers and academics in medicine and information
and communications technology sector to discuss and showcase their work.
Service providers from the private sector will be present to discuss and
showcase their experience and means of overcoming the information void in
developing countries.
This meeting will offer great networking opportunity for producers of long
distant training programs for health, the communication infrastructure
